SAN DIEGO: A grandmother who sells suicide kits from her home in California, pleaded guilty to offenses related to tax laws as a result of the inquiry mail order business.
Sharlotte Hydorn, 93, retired public school science teacher, pleaded not fill out tax form 2007 to 2010 where according to the investigating officer, about seven customers have been using the kit pengasfiksiaan to commit suicide.
Sharlotte, the house has been searched by government agents in May and said, kit 'kill him' is to help poor patients who want to die a dignified manner.
According to prosecutors, he sold about 1,300 kits over the next four years and agreed to stop making and selling sampler kit as part of a guilty plea agreement.
The kit sold for U.S. $ 60 , including the use of procedures and delivery. It consists of a plastic hood wound in the neck and a drain from the tank of helium or other inert gas can be used to commit suicide.
San Diego Regional Counsel, the one involved in the settlement, agreed not to prosecute Sharlotte of six known deaths in the province.
Sherlotte admitted selling the kit, for 20 years under the brand 'GLADD' which means 'Glorious Life and Dignified Death' without making any inspection the buyer who ordered the kit. He claimed he did not benefit the higher the sales kit. - Reuters
